Convention

Texas Association of Pawnbrokers host a highly anticipated Annual Convention and EXPO that draws in many pawnbrokers from all over Texas and nation. Our convention location changes throughout the years. We have held the convention in major cities such as Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and Galveston. This weekend long extravaganza gives attendees the opportunity to network with fellow pawnbrokers, meet new vendors, and learn at seminars put on by industry experts. Every year we host an exhibit hall full of industry vendors such as Wholesale Merchandisers, Diamond Buyers, Refiners, Firearm Dealers, Luxury Wholesalers, Insurance, Display Specialist, Safe Companies and many more. Each year at the convention we also host our famous PAC Auction. Our PAC Auction raises money to protect against legislation that may be harmful to independent pawnbrokers statewide. The convention is a great time for networking with fellow pawnbrokers, learning new techniques, and growing knowledge in all departments.

2024 Convention

The 2024 TAP Convention was held at Moody Gardens Hotel and Convention Center in Galveston, Texas.

2023 Convention

TAP goes Hollywood. The 2023 TAP Convention was held at the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel in Richardson, TX.
