Annual Convention & Trade Show
Annually TAP organizes a convention for Pawnbrokers in the State of Texas. The convention includes informative seminars on products, new business ideas, strategies, and rules and regulations. A "members only" meeting is held where member have an open forum with the Board of Directors and fellow members to discuss TAP business.
TAP hosts a trade show during the convention. Pawnbrokers are given an exclusive opportunity to experience new products, demonstrations & show specials. There are activities Friday & Saturday night including a PAC Auction.

Quarterly Magazine
TAP publishes a quarterly magazine which provides insights on new technologies, current events, and new legislation. Each member store will be included in the mailing list. Articles and input are always welcome from our members. If you have a specific request or information to include in the "Texas Pawnbroker" please contact our TAP Headquarters.
TAP Crime Victim's Assistance Program
A program to further strengthen our relationships with law enforcement by being pro-active with victims of property theft. TAP "CVA" brochures and door decals are available to our members to assist them in dealing with this important issue.

When appropriate, an update on governmental and legislative information will be forwarded to the membership by TAP Headquarters. This information could include potential new legislations, regulations and laws that directly affect the pawn industry. These updates may be sent by email, fax, or in print form.
TAP By-Laws
The TAP By-Laws booklet is provided to new members. Additional copies of the by-laws may be requested through TAP Headquareters.

TAP Members are also provided an opportunity to link their individual stores with the TAP website this can create a larger exposure for your pawnshop at no additional cost. This added benefit can be done simply by contacting us.

A quick reference guide to companies who have served Texas Pawnbrokers and have a prove history and reputation with our members. These vendors have supported our association over the years either by associate membership, advertising, exhibiting, or by sponsorship. Without their support, it would be very difficult, if not impossible to meet the needs of our members. We encourage you to consider using these businesses when making buying decisions for your individual stores.
TAP Email Alert Tree
All current TAP members who have provided their email address will be included in an email tree. The purpose of the tree is to share information between fellow members. The alerts include thefts, attempted scams, fraudulent merchandise warnings, etc. This has proven to be a very useful tool in avoiding losses for your store(s). Every attempt will be made by TAP to reserve this tree as a place for urgent and useful information. Email addresses will not be disclosed. We encourage you to participate.
Employee Handbook (Guide)
The handbook is intended as a guide to assist TAP Member owners and managers in customizing an employee handbook for their stores. This publication is provided by email "on request" through TAP Headquarters.
